Description
The structure described as the Ohlman Anticline or Dome was mapped by these authors, who were using scanty subsurface data for the Herrin Coal Member, as an east-trending anticlinal nose. None of the references cited indicates any closure on the structure, thus it should not have been called a dome. Nelson's (1987b) structure map does not indicate any form of structural high in the vicinity of Ohlman; therefore, use of the name should be discontinued.
