Description
The Cottonwood Fault is about 3 miles (5 km) long and strikes north to south. It is a normal fault with the west side downthrown as much as 100 feet (30 m). The Cottonwood Fault lies just east of the larger Albion-Ridgway Fault Zone and may intersect the latter at depth.
